Diagnosis
The Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Center employs a team of health care providers who are experts in diagnosing and treating non-healing wounds, including:
- Diabetic foot ulcers
- Venous stasis ulcers
- Arterial insufficiency ulcers
- Non-healing surgical wounds
- Traumatic wounds
- Burns
- Pressure ulcers

- Other non-healing wounds
During each clinic visit, we carefully examine our patients and their wounds. A thorough medical history and physical examination, including reviews of recent medical visits, pertinent lab tests or imaging studies, will be conducted. If necessary, tests will be ordered to fully evaluate the cause of the wound.
Once an accurate diagnosis has been made, our doctors thoroughly explain the next steps in the tailored treatment plan. If appropriate, you or a family member may be instructed on dressing changes, or at-home care will be requested to perform dressing changes at your home. With your permission, our doctors will communicate with your primary care physician so that he or she can stay updated on your progress.
