Advanced Practice Provider

Statewide
The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, with guidance and support of the supervising physician, will provide efficient comprehensive orthopaedic care including imaging services, rehabilitation and pain management. Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program. Must have a valid state of North Carolina PA or NP license. The term “advanced practice providers” (APPs) refers to PAs and NPs, as well as other licensed, nonphysician providers.

Physical/Occupational Therapist

Statewide
The Physical Therapist or Occupational therapist will perform appropriate care for patients with musculoskeletal and pain problems through “state of the art” medical treatment. Graduate of accredited PT/OT School and State of North Carolina Therapy License.

Medical Assistant

Statewide
The Medical Assistant assists the physician in a multi-specialty clinic setting including: maintaining schedules, preparation and assistance with examinations, assisting in other patient care as directed by the physician; and stocking work area. High school diploma or equivalent required. CMA Certification, or other equivalent education, certification, licensure, or related degree preferred. Medical training and/or experience in casting or splinting preferred.

Call Center Specialist

Statewide
The Appointment/Triage Call Center Specialist answers daily phone calls, schedules, cancels, and confirms appointments according to callers’ requests while following appointment protocols. The specialist notates various triage messages and forwards them to the appropriate staff members, processes appointment referrals faxed from outside physicians as well as those received via email or internet. High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to multitask, along with strong customer service, computer, and communication skills are required.

Patient Support Specialist

Statewide
The Patient Support Specialist will check in and check out patients, answer phones, and perform other duties including entering patient information into the system, assisting patients with questions or issues, making follow-up appointments, posting charges and balancing money. Greet visitors and vendors, directing them to the appropriate personnel. High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to multi-task, along with strong customer service, computer, and communication skills are required.

Radiologic Technologist

Statewide
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for critique and performance of quality diagnostic imaging in an orthopaedic setting, completion of all examinations and accurately identifying all charges associated with studies. Assist with clinic duties, such as escorting patients to the room, entering EMR information into the system, and other various duties. ARRT certification required. Strong communication, organization, and computer skills are required. Requires the ability to work in a team-based setting.
