Originally from Altoona, PA, Steve Huber graduated from Gannon University with a Bachelor of Science in respiratory therapy. After working as a respiratory therapist for two years, he enrolled in Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his Master of Health Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Upon graduation, he moved to Morehead City to practice in orthopedics. He works with Thomas Bates, MD, in general orthopedics and joint replacement.
Steve has worked in several areas of medicine, including emergency and family medicine. He has also served as a volunteer at Broad Street Clinic in Morehead City.
A board-certified physician assistant, he is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and a three-county midlevel practitioner society.
Focusing on personal care, Steve spends quality time with his patients and gets to know them on a personal level. He lives in Morehead City with his wife and two daughters, taking advantage of outdoor sports and the coastal lifestyle as often as possible.
