Nathan Christie, MD

Education and Expertise

Dr. Christie graduated from the University of Wisconsin and then earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He trained in two residency programs, one in general surgery at the University of North Carolina and another in anesthesiology at the University of Wisconsin.

Dr. Christie has also completed a fellowship at Weill Cornell Tri-Institute and trained at the Hospital for Special Surgery, Memorial Sloane Kettering, and New York Presbyterian. He trained residents and fellows in pain management while on the faculty at Duke University. He also completed a course in medical acupuncture at the Academy of Pain Research in San Francisco.

As a pain management specialist, Dr. Christie has extensive training in helping people who struggle with chronic pain. His treatments help patients manage and get relief from pain, increase mobility, and improve quality of life. He specializes in treating:

Dr. Christie is a dedicated chronic pain specialist who enjoys helping patients work toward a greater quality of life. In his spare time, Dr. Christie enjoys several hobbies that help him stay grounded, including beekeeping, stargazing, working out, riding his motorcycle, and learning new skills.
