Grant completed his Doctorate of Medical Science from the University of Lynchburg. He also holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, as well as a Master of Business Administration with a Specialization in Healthcare Management from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Additionally, he has an undergraduate degree in nursing from Ohio University.
With extensive experience in emergency medicine and urgent care, Grant specializes in sports medicine. He is also a veteran of the United States Army and currently holds the rank of Colonel in the North Carolina Army National Guard.
