Lauren graduated with distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise and Sports Science and went on to earn her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Alderson Broaddus University in West Virginia.
Lauren is part of the back, neck & spine team headed by Dr. Ashraf Guirgues.
While a student in the physician assistant program at Alderson Broaddus, Lauren worked in several area Emergency Departments, which provided her with exposure across a variety of medical specialties. She also lived in the Triangle area for a time where she worked as an EMT and a CNA, as well as volunteering and shadowing, in numerous renowned healthcare settings, including UNC, Duke, Rex and Wake Med.
