John Wood earned his Bachelor of Health Sciences in Physical Therapy from the University of Missouri-Columbia and spent several years working as a physical therapist in the Cincinnati and St. Louis areas. He later continued his education at Wake Forest University, where he received a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies. After graduating in 2005, John moved to Asheville with his wife and began practicing as a Physician Assistant with Blue Ridge Bone and Joint, now EmergeOrtho.
Outside of work, John enjoys running, golfing, hiking, and spending time with his family.
