Jeffrey Beane, MD

Dr. Beane is an experienced board-certified orthopedic surgeon who cares for patients at our EmergeOrtho Greensboro | Orthopedic Clinic. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions and injuries of the spine and associated pathology. In addition to treating spine injuries and conditions, Dr. Beane is skilled in caring for injuries and conditions of the shoulder and knee. These conditions can result from sports, work, or traumatic injuries as well as chronic conditions such as degenerative disc disease or spinal stenosis. In his practice, Dr. Beane serves a wide variety of patients requiring both surgical and non-operative care. While he performs surgical procedures of the spine, Dr Beane also performs rotator cuff surgeries and total joint replacements. Dr. Beane enjoys caring for patients of all ages.

While in undergraduate school, Dr. Beane studied chemical engineering and this knowledge gives him an incomparable perspective when diagnosing and caring for his patients. By combining his expertise of engineering principles and medicine, Dr. Beane’s approach to patient care is unique. Utilizing innovative technology allows Dr. Beane to perform minimally-invasive lumbar surgery. His insight is distinctive and beneficial to his patients.

Dr. Beane also serves as the Medical Director of the Triad Region. He strives to improve patient outcomes through his contributions to the advancements in medical technology. Dr. Beane has served on the research technology board of the upright standing MRI. With this research, he has worked in conjunction with other professionals to explore applications for dynamic studies of upright loaded positions verses lying down. Advancements in diagnostic imaging enable physicians to better care for their patients. Dr. Beane strives to deliver unparalleled patient-centered care. He enjoys helping his patients find relief from their pain and returning to an active life.
