Dr. Earl Walker has been representing EmergeOrtho in Burke County since 2006. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Walker has particular interest in foot and ankle problems as well as general orthopedics.
Dr. Walker attended the University of Tennessee for his undergraduate study where he obtained a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in electrical engineering. He worked as an electrical engineer for several years before pursuing a career in medicine. He attended medical school at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, Tennessee. He completed his internship and residency at Louisiana State University Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana. He also completed a fellowship in adult reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center under G. James Sammarco, MD.
He currently lives in Connelly Springs, North Carolina where he enjoys the abundant outdoor activities available in North Carolina.
