Vivian graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University (FIU) in Miami, FL in 1999. She later returned to FIU to obtain her Master’s in Public Health in Epidemiology in 2008. After 8 years dedicated to medical research, she missed interacting with patients and decided to pursue a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Western Carolina University. Upon graduating in 2018, she joined the team at EmergeOrtho | Blue Ridge Region.
Vivian moved to Asheville from Miami, FL in 2014 with her partner and fur baby. As a Miami native, she is fluent in Spanish. In her personal time, she enjoys nature walks and practices mindfulness, yoga, and meditation.
