Sarah Whittemore, DNP, FNP-C

Sarah Whittemore is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who provides orthopedic care for patients at EmergeOrtho’s Greensboro Orthopedic Clinic location. Sarah joined our team in 2023, with 10 years of experience as an orthopedic nurse before becoming a Nurse Practitioner. She has always enjoyed working with orthopedic physicians and surgeons. Sarah says, “I also enjoy educating and teaching orthopedic patients about the expected course of their care, and the outcomes after their surgeries.” Therefore, EmergeOrtho was her ideal choice to continue her healthcare career.

As a healthcare professional, Sarah enjoys getting to know her patients, who they are as individuals, and helping them find treatment options that align with their goals and values. To best care for her patients, Sarah stays up to date about the latest care models as well as continues to expand her knowledge of orthopedic conditions and how each can optimally be treated. She aims for her patients feel cared for, heard, and valued. Sarah hopes patients feel that she, Richard Ramos, MD, and remainder of the team at EmergeOrtho work together to address the problems they are facing and provide a holistic approach to care!
