Maryellen received her undergraduate degree in Exercises & Sport Sciences-Athletic Training from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She then went on to get her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The University of Miami. Maryellen is also an Orthopedic Certified Specialist. Maryellen knew she wanted to be a physical therapist since her teenage years after having significant PT on knees throughout high school. Maryellen enjoys getting to know her patient’s specific goals and getting them back to the activities that they enjoy most.
When she isn’t working, Maryellen enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 young children and rooting for Chapel Hill Sports Teams (Go Heels!).
