Krista Herbst is dual credentialed as a physical therapist and a certified athletic trainer. She joined our EmergeOrtho Triad Region team in 2013 and cares for patients of all ages with orthopedic injuries and conditions. As a physical therapist, Krista evaluates and cares for patients within the Therapy Services Department. She makes every effort to deliver quality, patient-centered care identifying her patient’s needs and goals. Her treatment plans are innovative and individualized, helping patients remain motivated in their recovery.
In the our therapy clinic, Krista says “I love to see patients progress, so they are able to return to the activities or sports they were doing prior to their surgery or injury.” Her clinical interests include general orthopedics as well as sports injuries and rehabilitation. Krista brings a unique perspective to our therapy clinic with her expertise in physical therapy and athletic training.
Krista became is certified in Personalized Blood Flow Restriction (PBFR) through Owens Recovery Science. She uses this modality with all types of patients ranging from post-surgical patients to performance athletes. Her patients have benefited from PBFR with documented increases in strength, hypertrophy, & endurance. Krista’s knowledge, determination, and compassion are incomparable.
