Kara Turnbull graduated Summa Cum Laude from West Virginia University with her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science where she also competed on the gymnastics team. She then went on to pursue her Health Science Master’s degree in the Physician Assistant program at Lock Haven University in 2010. She is a board-certified Physician Assistant and fellow member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Kara started her career with experience in orthopedics and emergency medicine in WV before moving to North Carolina and joining EmergeOrtho in 2020.
