Dr. Andrew Butler is a board-eligible orthopedic surgeon and a key member of EmergeOrtho—Blue Ridge Region’s foot and ankle team. His education and recent fellowship training in the most advanced foot and ankle innovations, treatments, and procedures ensure that his patients receive the highest quality, precision orthopedic care. Treating conditions ranging from sprains and strains to bunions and fractures, Dr. Butler’s commitment to excellence in patient-centered care and his expertise in minimally invasive techniques solidify his reputation as a leading foot and ankle orthopedic surgeon.

Dr. Butler has dedicated many years to his education. He received his BA in biology from Kenyon College in Gambier, OH. After receiving his bachelor’s, he attended Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, NJ, where he earned his MD in 2017. Dr. Butler went on to complete his orthopedic residency at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, as well, in their New Brunswick, NJ location. From 2022-2023, he underwent intensive fellowship training at Harvard Brigham and Women’s in Boston, MA, specializing in foot and ankle surgery.

fundraising dinner and auction. Money raised went to local Knox County Soup Kitchen and
