Your low-cost, high-quality exam also includes a professional read from our Registered MR Technologists. Patients also have the option to choose a wide-bore MRI scan for increased comfort. MRI scans are available at several EmergeOrtho – Coastal Region locations to any patient with a referral.

  • Mobile Unit (Wide Bore, Signa Voyager): Thursday-Saturday from 7:00am-7:00pm
• Morehead City
  • Mobile Unit (Standard GE Bore): Monday from 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Mobile Unit (Wide Bore, Siemens): Thursday from 8:00am-5:00pm
• Shallotte
  • Mobile Unit (Wide Bore, Signa Voyager): Monday-Tuesday from 7:00am-7:00pm
• Wilmington – Shipyard
  • Fixed Unit (Standard Bore): Monday-Sunday from 7:00am-7:00pm
  • Mobile Unit (Wide Bore, Signa Voyager): Every other Saturday from 7:00am-7:00pm
• Wilmington – Porters Neck
  • Mobile Unit (Wide Bore, Signa Voyager): Wednesday from 7:00am-7:00pm

Walk-in X-ray services are also available at any full-service EmergeOrtho – Coastal Region location offering advanced orthopedic and spine care.

Physician Referrals for MRI

Physicians can refer patients to EmergeOrtho for convenient access to high-quality radiology and imaging. Our radiology partners are NC licensed, board-certified and fellowship-trained musculoskeletal radiologists offering an easy network connection and remote access portal.
