Tyler joined the Myrtle Beach, SC, office of EmergeOrtho – Coastal Region in May of 2026. As part of the sports medicine and joint replacement teams, he works with physician Michael Marushack, MD.
Tyler came to EmergeOrtho with exceptional experience as both an orthopedic surgery physician assistant and as an athletic trainer. He spent more than three years at the National Sports Medicine Institute honing his skills as first surgical assist on a variety of orthopedic procedures including joint replacement, and another two and a half years at Roper St. Francis in Charleston, SC, assisting in major and minor orthopedic surgeries.
