Tricia Poff first joined our team in 2001 as a rehabilitation aide. Her experiences working in the Therapy Services department led her to pursue further education to become a physical therapist. Tricia completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2005 and rejoined our Therapy Services Staff after graduation. As a physical therapist, she cares for patients with multiple types of orthopedic injuries and conditions. Tricia performs Functional Capacity Evaluations and became a Certified Work Capacity Evaluator in 2009. She has a special interest in caring for patients with both upper and lower extremity diagnoses. Tricia strives to deliver quality, patient-centered care identifying her patient’s needs and goals to result in a positive patient experience.
Tricia’s desire and motivation to advance her education is apparent when she is caring for her patients. She strives to develop innovative and individualized treatment plans for each of her patients. Her continuing education interests include advancements in upper and lower extremity rehabilitation. She recently became certified in Personalized Blood Flow Restriction (PBFR). Tricia’s patients have benefited from PBFR with documented increases in strength, hypertrophy, & endurance. To learn more about PBFR, click here or see the patient resource links below.
