Thalia attended the University of Florida for her undergraduate coursework and earned a B.S. in Health Education and Behavior in 2014. She later graduated with a Master in Occupational Therapy from the University of Saint Augustine in 2018. During her clinical fieldwork, Thalia completed a 12-week rotation in hand therapy, which launched her passion for rehabilitation of the upper extremity. She enjoys the complexity of treating surgical and non-surgical orthopedic diagnoses and creating custom orthoses to facilitate the healing process. Thalia strives to provide compassionate, client-centered care and has recently achieved her Hand Therapy Certification. She joined the team at EmergeOrtho in November of 2020.
In her free time, Thalia enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog, Willow, and backyard hens.
