Dr. Eddings earned his bachelor’s degree in molecular biology from Vanderbilt University and continued additional research at the University of Georgia. Dr. Eddings graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1991. His residency and orthopedic training were completed at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine’s Department of Orthopedics. In addition, he has studied advanced orthopedic traumatology in Germany.
Dr. Eddings specializes in using computer-assisted navigation to perform joint replacements. His orthopedic practice focuses on total hip and knee replacements, arthroscopic treatment of shoulder and knee pathologies, fracture care, and sports medicine.
Other procedures performed include:
- Arthroscopic repair of torn rotator cuff tendon
- Partial distal clavical excisions
- Repair of cartilaginous lesions
- Repair of labral tears
- Meniscal repair and debridement
- Anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction
Dr. Eddings and his three daughters have lived in Asheville since 1998 and are active members of the community. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, horseback riding, fishing, and spending time with his family.
