A certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Sydney Williams, FNP-C, joined EmergeOrtho – Coastal Region in 2025. She is part of the team led by Richard Moore, MD, specializing in hand & wrist and upper extremity.
After completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology with a minor in Genetics at North Carolina State University, Sydney went on to earn her Master of Physiology degree, also from N.C. State. Two years later, she graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University.
Prior to earning her advanced degree in nursing, Sydney worked in health care as a research assistant, a medical assistant and a certified nursing assistant.
