Dr. Weeks completed her undergraduate studies at Duke University, and obtained her medical degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed a radiology residency and fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at UNC, and then remained on staff for seven years. She was named section chief of VIR while at UNC.
Special clinical interests include hepatic and biliary interventions both before and following liver transplantation, and non-invasive vascular imaging. She left UNC in 2006 and joined Wake Radiology for seven years where she specialized in the outpatient treatment of venous disease. Her current clinical interests include venous disease and wound care.
