Steven graduated from the Interservice Physician Assistant Program in 2001 with a BS Physician Assistant Studies, University of Nebraska, MS Physician Assistant Studies 2002 and Nova Southeastern University. Doctor of Health Science in 2014. He is an Orthopedic Fellowship trained Physician Assistant with 25 years as a certified PA which includes 17 years of practice in General Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. He is an accomplished clinician, educator and author.
Steven is licensed by the North Carolina Medical Board and the NCCPA as a Certified Physician Assistant. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Associate Member, Physician Associates in Orthopedic Surgery and American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Donna, children and grandchildren. He also enjoys golfing, summers in Maine and new adventures.
