Dr. Sladicka graduated with honors from the University of Scranton earning a Bachelor of Science. He attended Temple Medical School and was awarded a scholarship in the U.S. Army’s Health Profession Scholarship Program. He completed his internship at Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center. During his training, he was called to service in Desert Shield/Desert Storm as a Brigade Surgeon for the 24th Infantry Division. For exemplary service to his country, he was awarded a Combat Medical Badge, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Saudi Arabia Kuwaiti Liberation Medal, and South West Asia Medial with two Bronze Stars. He completed his orthopedic training at Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center receiving the Clarence Yeargen Award for Outstanding Resident.
