Nathan Whicker, PTA

Nathan Whicker is a physical therapist assistant at EmergeOrtho’s North Church Street physical therapy clinic in Greensboro. He holds a degree in exercise and sport science and has additional training in the Barbell Rehab Method. Nathan applies his expertise in movement, strength training, and injury management to help people with orthopedic conditions. He focuses on modifying and advancing exercises to manage pain and improve mobility, keeping patients active during recovery.

Nathan collaborates with physical therapists to guide patients through treatment plans that restore strength, enhance movement, and prevent reinjury. He has a special interest in helping people return to running, jumping, and sports, using a performance-based approach that emphasizes plyometric and landing mechanics, so patients regain confidence in activities they love.
