Nathan was born and raised in Taylorsville, NC and attended Alexander Central High School. After high school, he went on to pursue a degree in Exercise Science, with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning and a minor in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He attended graduate school at Winston-Salem State University where he received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. He specializes in the evaluation and treatment of orthopedic, sports medicine, and musculoskeletal injuries and uses a hands-on approach to care while prioritizing patient education. His goal is to empower patients to take control of their own recovery process so they can return to their favorite activities as quickly as possible.
While at Winston-Salem State University, Nathan participated in advanced manual therapy training. He has certifications in functional dry needling and blood flow restriction training.
In his spare time, Nathan enjoys spending time with his wife and two dogs, exercising, golfing, hiking, traveling, and being outdoors. You can find him cheering on the Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Braves.
