Morgan Smith, BS, PTA

Morgan Smith is a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who cares for physical therapy patients at our EmergeOrtho Summerfield | Physical Therapy location. She originally joined our team in 2017 as a Physical Therapy Tech while earning her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. After working in our physical therapy clinic for 3 years, Morgan was inspired to earn her PTA degree from Guilford Technical Community College.

After completing her education and before rejoining our EmergeOrtho, Morgan worked for 2 years in the pediatric outpatient/home setting predominantly caring for children ages 6 months to 5 years old. She worked primarily with conditions such as cerebral palsy, down syndrome, autism, and quadriplegia due to birth complications, tumors, and general developmental delays.

Morgan is enjoys caring for patients to help them reach their goals, getting back to doing the activities they love. She provides individualized rehabilitative services with compassion and kindness. She appreciates getting to know her patients. Learning about the unique needs and goals of each patient allows Morgan to effectively motivate and safely guide patients through their recovery.
