Five years after earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ashland University in Ohio, Macie graduated from the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program at Chamberlain University in Chicago.
She joined EmergeOrtho – Coastal Region in August of 2026, bringing significant experience in various acute and critical care settings, including as a home health nurse, a hospitalist and an emergency department nurse.
Macie works with Gary Wertman, DO, specializing hand and upper extremity, and as part of the joint replacement team headed by Randle Ramsey, DO.
