Laura came to EmergeOrtho Coastal Region from southern California, where she gained tremendous experience as a physician assistant in orthopedic specialty practices in the San Diego and Los Angeles areas.
In addition to being a board-certified physician assistant, Laura is a certified athletic trainer who has worked on the collegiate and professional levels, including with women’s Olympic and pro soccer teams and Chicago’s Joffrey Ballet Company.
Laura earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Rush University, completing an advanced, third-year fellowship in orthopedics. Prior to PA school, Laura received a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Marquette University.
Laura works with Dr. Bowling as part of the joint replacement and sports medicine team.
