Before earning her Master of Science, Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Purdue University Global, Kristin worked as a nurse navigator for total joint replacement patients at Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, NC.
She joined EmergeOrtho in 2025 as part of the hand and upper extremity team under the direction of Gary Wertman, DO.
Kristin’s extensive nursing experience ranged from working with joint replacement patients to managing complex medical concerns. She is especially adept at helping patients and their families understand what to expect, as she oversaw patient education in her previous role as a nurse navigator.
