Kaitlyn graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, as well as a concentration in Integrative Physiology and Neurobiology and a minor in Sports Science.
Working as a medical assistant and surgical first assistant in Raleigh, she gained valuable experience in caring for surgical patients. Kaitlyn next pursued her Master of Medical Sciences in Physician Assistant Program from Tufts University where she became proficient in patient assessment, managing acute and chronic conditions, and performing a range of procedures, including wound care.
In 2025, she joined EmergeOrtho – Coastal Region where she is a member of the joint replacement team headed by Vishavpreet (Ricky) Singh, MD at the Shallotte location.
