Upon graduation from Oregon State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Geology, John served in the United States Navy for five years before returning to school to seek his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at East Carolina University.
While in the Navy, John served in key medical provider and advisory roles both domestically and abroad, including deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq.
After earning his PA-C, he worked as a physician assistant for five years in the Jacksonville, Newport and Swansboro areas, across an impressive variety of specialties, including vascular surgery, interventional radiology and pediatrics.
John is a valuable member of the hand and upper extremity team led by Gary Wertman, DO.
