Board-certified as both a physician assistant and athletic trainer, Jillian is part of our joint replacement team, working with Dr. Hoffman.
Jillian graduated from Wingate University twice: first with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training, followed by a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. A standout student-athlete, she excelled in women’s indoor and outdoor track and field, became an adjunct faculty professor in Wingate’s School of Sport Science Athletic Training Program, and served as Director of Football Operations while an athletic trainer at Novant Health in Charlotte.
Following PA school, Jillian worked as a surgical specialties APP (advanced practice provider) fellow at Atrium Health, also in Charlotte, where she gained a great deal of experience in preoperative and postoperative care.
