Jennifer Griffith is a board-certified Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. As a part of the Foot and Ankle team, she works closely with Drs. Butler, Hedrick, and Mangone to provide the highest level of evidence-based care to all Foot and Ankle Access Clinic patients at the EmergeOrtho South Asheville location in Arden.
Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Loyola University in Chicago. She worked as a certified operating room nurse in Level 1 & 2 trauma centers in the Chicagoland area before attending the University of Michigan, graduating with honors from the Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Master of Science in Nursing program. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and North Carolina Nurses Association. Jennifer also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
As a former collegiate soccer player who experienced orthopedic injuries requiring specialized care, Jennifer brings a unique background to her role as a healthcare provider. She makes it a priority to listen to her patients and understand things from their perspective, allowing for shared-decision making in the patient-provider relationship.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, golfing, watching Liverpool FC, and exploring the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.
