Jeff earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training from Appalachian State University in 1993. Later, he pursued a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from East Carolina University and graduated in 1996. In May 2006, Jeff completed the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Caldwell Community College.
Jeff has held several positions in the surrounding areas before joining EmergeOrtho. He worked as the Head Athletic Trainer at West Caldwell High School from 1998 to 2010, and as Director of Sports Medicine at Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Lenoir from 1998 to 2005. Additionally, he has worked as an athletic trainer and rehab tech at Mission St. Joseph’s Health System in Asheville, as well as at Lenoir Physical Therapy & Sports Injury Rehab in Whitnel.
His expertise includes sports injuries, orthopedics, aquatic therapy, work conditioning, cardiac rehabilitation, and corporate fitness. He currently resides in Granite Falls, NC with his wife Courtney, and their cat, BooKitty.
