Jeanne Tanner, OTR/L, CHT

Jeanne Tanner is a Board-Certified Hand Therapist since 2001. She is a graduate of Ohio State University Occupational Therapy program and has been practicing as a CHT/OT in North Carolina since she moved from Atlanta Georgia in 2005. She has advanced skills as a therapist in custom splinting and upper extremity rehabilitation. Her strong background in neurology for 10 years prior to becoming hand certified has been fundamental to her success with post-surgical reconstruction and functional nerve transfers in the upper extremity. She speaks some medical Spanish. She is the president of the North Carolina Upper Extremity Special Interest Group which she founded to unite and share the best practice techniques for excellence among hand therapists, nurses, PAs and MDs in in the Triangle and beyond.
