Jamie Bernal earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Arkansas and went on to complete his Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. During his clinical fieldwork, Jamie discovered a passion for upper extremity rehabilitation while working in outpatient orthopedics. He is committed to helping patients restore functional skills that promote independence and meaningful participation in daily life.
Jamie continues to advance his expertise through ongoing professional development, focusing on custom splint fabrication and evidence-based practices for upper extremity care.
Outside of work, Jamie enjoys spending time with his spouse and two dogs, hiking, playing tennis, and traveling.
