About Dr. Ortmann IV, MD
Dr. Ortmann is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with advanced fellowship training in hand & upper extremity surgery. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of the upper extremity focusing on the hand, wrist, and elbow – helping patients get back to work, sports, and daily life without pain. Whether you’re in need of orthopedic card for a fracture, tendon or nerve injury, arthritis, or an athletic-related injury, Dr. Ortmann provides subspecialized orthopedic care at EmergeOrtho’s Greensboro | Orthopedic Clinic location.
He strives to deliver patient-centered care by encouraging his patients to be actively involved in their medical care. After meeting with and listening to his patients, Dr. Ortmann develops a treatment plan to reflect the patient’s individual needs and values. He sees each patient as an individual and treats each as a whole person, not just their injury.
Beyond the orthopedic clinic, building and maintaining positive relationships within the community is important to Dr. Ortmann – supporting youth sports programs, local schools, and charity events. As an athletic himself, enjoying swimming, golf, pickleball, and tennis Dr. Ortmann understands the importance of staying healthy and active.
