About Frank Rowan, MD
Dr. Frank Rowan at EmergeOrtho focuses on patient-centered musculoskeletal care, treating sports injuries, chronic joint pain, and work-related injuries. He provides orthopedic evaluations, personalized treatments, and easy access to care, so you can get back to work, sports, and your daily routine. Dr. Rowan sees patients at EmergeOrtho’s Orthopedic Clinic at 1915 Lendew Street in Greensboro.
He is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training and more than 40 years of experience. He also served as an F-16 flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force, where he treated complex musculoskeletal injuries in service members. Dr. Rowan treats orthopedic conditions from arthritis to acute sports injuries. He has extensive experience with workers’ compensation, occupational injury care, and independent medical evaluations (IMEs), helping injured employees return to work and daily life. Patients value his clear communication, attentive listening, and dedication to restoring mobility and confidence.
