Eric Phillips is an experienced Physician Assistant at EmergeOrtho’s Lendew Street orthopedic clinic in Greensboro. With a strong foundation in sports medicine, athletic training, and advanced clinical care, Eric brings a comprehensive, patient-focused approach to diagnosing and treating a wide range of orthopedic injuries and musculoskeletal conditions. He works alongside Frank Rowan, MD, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in fracture care, sports injuries, and general orthopedics.
Eric is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where he studied sports medicine and developed a passion for providing hands-on care to athletes. His interest in injury prevention and rehabilitation led him to Tulane University, where he worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer while earning a graduate degree in Public Health.
After working for a few more years, Eric was inspired to pursue a career as a Physician Assistant. He returned to his home state of Georgia to complete his Master of Physician Assistant Studies at South University in Savannah, graduating in 2008. The additional education and broader scope of practice opened the door to serving different populations. This career change strengthened his commitment to accessible, compassionate, and high-quality patient care.
