Dr. Elizabeth Nora Fojtik provides personalized, subspecialty patient care as a member of the EmergeOrtho—Triangle Region Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Physiatry Team. Her expertise enables Dr. Fojtik to diagnose and treat a number of orthopedic conditions that affect the nerves, tendons, ligaments, muscles, joints, brain, and spinal cord.
Both board-certified and fellowship-trained, Dr. Fojtik utilizes the latest multidisciplinary approaches in physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) to address conditions ranging from joint, neck, and back pain to spinal stenosis, chronic headaches, and more.
Education and Expertise
Dr. Fojtik graduated from the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California at Los Angeles. She then completed her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of North Carolina. After graduating from her fellowship in electrodiagnostic and neuromuscular medicine at the University of Virginia, Dr. Fojtik joined EmergeOrtho in 2017.
