Ed received his Bachelor of Science from North Carolina State University and his Master of Physician Assistant Practice from Campbell University. Earlier in his career as a physician assistant, Ed worked in both general urgent care and emergency medicine where he gained experience in managing a wide variety of acute illness and injury.
Prior to earning his Physician Assistant degree, Ed worked as a missionary and EMT in both the US and Mexico City. While working overseas, Ed had occasionally coordinated and participated in the work of several medical missions’ teams which inspired him to pursue more formal clinical education upon returning to the US.
Ed and his wife have been blessed with two energetic boys who regularly contribute to his knowledge of acute orthopedic problems.
