Diana Rizza, PT

Diana Rizza is a physical therapist who joined EmergeOrtho in 2023. She brings loads of professional experience, 30+ years, to provide skilled care to patients who may benefit from Physical Therapy Services in Reidsville, NC. Throughout Diana’s career she has focused on caring for patients in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy offices. She enjoys seeing patients be able to return to what they love to do, and sometimes even what they thought they’d never be able to do again.

Early in her career, Diana found orthopedic rehabilitation fascinating. She was collegiate field hockey player and enjoyed different sports. She could appreciate the quick progress active patients made in orthopedic physical therapy. Over her career, she has witnessed the physical therapy profession advance as she has too as a healthcare professional. Her special interests have shifted to include a more varied group of orthopedic areas. Diana welcomes any patient who may benefit from physical therapy, whether they experienced a recent ankle sprain, had total joint surgery, or could find value with a few appointments to learn how to stay active as they age.

Diana says, “I love what I do, and I’d say my favorite part is connecting with my patients, finding out what motivates them, so we can work together to help them achieve their goals.” She is hopeful her patients have a positive experience with physical therapy. She notes, “So many times patients are afraid PT will hurt or are afraid they will have to do exercises that make them uncomfortable.” Diana expects her patients will be encouraged as they make progress. Her patients can realize that the ownership of their recovery will help them feel better and see the value in the efforts.
