Dennis “Trey” Courtney is a physical therapist who provides physical therapy services for patients at our EmergeOrtho Summerfield | Physical Therapy Clinic. Patients who have worked with Trey know his enthusiasm for movement stems from years as a multi-sport athlete and coaching various levels of basketball. His athletic background has shaped his career devoted to orthopedic rehabilitation, with a special focus in sport physical therapy.

Drawing on his competitive athletics insight and education, Trey develops evidence based treatment plans that can rebuild a patient’s strength, improve agility, and renew confidence after injury or orthopedic surgery. “I chose orthopedics because I’m driven to help people recover both physically and emotionally after setbacks,” Trey explains. Every session is patient centered. One of Trey’s goals with patients is to empower his patients with the knowledge and tools they need to take control of their health, optimize their recovery, and achieve long-term wellness.
