Deitra Williams-Toone, MD is a native North Carolinian and proud Tar Heel. She has been practicing pain medicine since 2005 and is board certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine. Dr. Williams-Toone’s areas of expertise at EmergeOrtho–Triangle Region include interventional pain management. She likes to spend her free time with family and friends, reading, gardening, and playing with her grand-dog!
Education and Expertise
Dr. Toone earned both her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed a residency in anesthesiology and her fellowship in pain medicine at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
Dr. Toone is certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. She has also completed UNC–Greensboro’s health coach certification.
As a board-certified physician specializing in Interventional Pain Management, Dr. Toone focuses on:
