Deb spent her childhood traveling with her military father and graduated from high school in Ansbach, Germany in 1983. She then attended nursing school in Ottumwa, Iowa, and worked as a registered nurse while raising her family. In 2007, she pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bryan College in Dayton, TN. Following this, she obtained her Master’s in Nursing with a Nurse Practitioner emphasis and her Master’s in Business with a Healthcare Emphasis from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, TN. She relocated to Knoxville, TN in 2015 to work in Pain Management. She then moved to Sioux City, Iowa to work at the Junie E Nylen Cancer Center in Oncology Pain Management. Since 2018, she has been residing in the Hickory area with her two dogs, a great dane, and a border collie. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, reading, crocheting, and cooking.
