David A. Rockwell, MD

Dr. David Rockwell is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and provides non-operative orthopedic care and treatment to patients.  He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was a Morehead Scholar. He completed his postgraduate training and orthopedic surgical residency at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia.

For over 30 years, Dr. Rockwell practiced community orthopedic surgery with Goldsboro Orthopedic Associates and was a past president of the North Carolina Orthopedic Association. In October 2011, the NCOA awarded Dr. David Rockwell, The Honored Surgeon Award which recognizes a North Carolina orthopedic surgeon who has been notably influential in the promotion of the highest standards of orthopedic care and has distinguished himself among his peers for the dedication to quality patient care and to the medical profession.
