Dr. Rose earned his medical degree at Duke University School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency. He later performed his internship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and then completed a one-year fellowship in spine surgery from the Spine Institute of Arizona in Scottsdale.

Dr. Rose is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon and a fellowship-trained spine specialist. His experience enables him to help patients suffering from neck pain, back pain, low back pain and sciatica in a conservative method, without the need for spine surgery.

If non surgical treatment options are exhausted, Dr. Rose specializes in diagnosing and treating cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine conditions, with an emphasis on minimally invasive spine surgery. He has worked with a pioneer of minimally invasive spine surgery to develop and improve the systems for achieving excellent results through minimal tissue disturbance.

Dr. Rose is affiliated and performs inpatient and outpatient spine surgery at Novant Health. He is an owner in the Brunswick Surgery Center, LLC where he performs outpatient spine surgery.
