Chris attended Bowling Green State University, where she was a volleyball student-athlete and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Health Science. She went on to complete her Master of Physical Therapy at Western Carolina University. Chris began her career in Raleigh, working in an outpatient physical therapy clinic for four years before returning to the mountains in 2008.
She specializes in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy with a focus on manual techniques and return-to-sport rehabilitation. Chris is certified in ASTYM and dry needling and holds the distinction of being a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist—a credential achieved by fewer than 400 physical therapists in North Carolina.
Outside of work, Chris is an avid cyclist and enjoys exploring the woods with her husband and their two Australian Shepherds.
