Christine Strader, PA-C

Christine Strader is a NCCPA board certified Physician Assistant with approximately 20 years of clinical experience. She returned to EmergeOrtho Triad Region in 2022, after working in another specialty area of medicine. Christine provides orthopedic care as part of EmergeOrtho’s Orthopedic Urgent Care, team in Reidsville, NC. Christine enjoys educating patients about their health in effort to help improve their quality of life.

Beginning her career as a radiologic technologist, working in orthopedics and urgent care settings, gave Christine a firsthand look into the profession of orthopedic medicine. Her enthusiasm for providing quality patient care led her to complete the Physician Assistant Program at Wake Forest University. With her newly earned degree and certification as a Physician Assistant, Christine worked alongside the physicians at Greensboro Orthopaedics (now EmergeOrtho) for 10 years. She treated all types of musculoskeletal injuries while specializing in the spine treatment. Christine then decided to expand her clinical knowledge, specializing in other areas of medicine. She is thrilled to be back at EmergeOrtho to refocus on her first passion, orthopedics.

Christine enjoys treating a variety of bone, muscle, and joint injuries. Working in the orthopedic urgent care clinic gives Christine the ability to care for patients of all ages. As a native of Rockingham County, Christine says, “I am proud to have the opportunity work in my community and strive to provide quality orthopedic care.” She believes patients should play an active role in their healthcare recovery and it’s her responsibility to provide patients with the education as well as care they need to return to the activities they enjoy. Christine hopes patients value their experience at EmergeOrtho as “they leave not only feeling like they received excellent care but also that they were heard and were able to play an active role in their treatment process.”
